Just a typical day on the farm.

The horses see a visitor riding up from the forest preserve, Tylia is the only interested one.

My Bodyguard. nuff said.

Tom is the only one eating hay, he lathered himself up in a limestone mud bath to protect himself from the flies.

Brant and Rosie and Cinnamon, I think.

Killer Kitty on mouse patrol.  Kudos to you Frankie, you have done a wonderful job!!

Weed wackers at work.

Tylia found her new love in Dynamite, I keep trying to break the news to her that he's gay but she so loves him.  HMMMM

Okay not cool!! these are ornamental grasses.

More weed wackin

Get a clue Tylia!

Now this one was funny, not sure if Tylia ever wore a fly mask.  She flipped out when she looked at Tom and Dynamite . Had no clue who they were with masks on.

Chickens first night in the new coop.

The chickens made it through the night in their new coop.  Everyone looks happy and healthy and they are loving it that can go outside now.  The new goats are fitting in quite happily Cassidy has quite a set of lungs when its time to eat, I can hear her bleating from the house in the morning.  I've realized food is the only way to tame these two girls.  My goal is to have them pulling a light cart by the 4th of July.

Working on the coop

We got the chickens moved out of their brooder and into their coop

The guys working hard on the coop

Interesting find while cleaning out the barn....Yuck

Not all Kims are created equal.....No Way was I going to
pick that thing up

They guys did a great job on the coop, now
for some finishing touches

This coop will never look this good again after we let the chickens in.

I think I said that quite a few time today.

Our stones look great.
